Cres Partnership Meeting
Between 14 and 16 September, the third WatHer Partnership Meeting took place on the beautiful island of Cres, Croatia. The meeting marked the official launch of the project’s second Working Package, dedicated to the test phase, including the development of Action Plans and the restoration of Water Heritage Systems.
Following an introduction by the University of Granada, which leads WP2, each partner had the opportunity to present the restoration interventions they intend to carry out, highlighting their feasibility and the main challenges to be addressed.
A big thank you also goes to our colleagues from OTRA, Ugo Toić and Pauline Flipo-Boucontet, supported by Tanja Kremenić (University of Padova), who organised our stay on the island impeccably.
The lead partner of the WatHer project is Politecnico di Milano – Department of Architecture, Built environment and Construction engineering (IT), and the project partners are University of Padova (IT), University of Granada (ES), University of Algarve (PT), IN LOCO Association (PT), OTRA – Island Development Agency Ltd (HR), BSC – Business support centre Ltd, Kranj (SI), Cyprus University of Technology (CY), Laona Foundation for the Conservation and Regeneration of the Cypriot Countryside (CY), Selenica Municipality (AL), Chambre d’agriculture des Bouches-du-Rhône (FR) and Terres en villes (FR).
